I'm probably on the other end of that curve, being only 17 and representing a
new audio software development company, Catnip Audio. I don't have much
knowledge myself of coding, but I'm on the crew as a Technical Advisor for
MPEG-4 Structured Audio, as our current project hopes to implement it.
Although, I must admit my work with computers started only shortly after you,
in about 1987 (once I was old enough to reach the keyboard) and I've been
fascinated with MIDI since I found out about it. Upon looking for another
low-bandwidth solution that yielded more standardized audio output. As such,
Structured Audio is looking very promising for me in the future and I'm
currently reading John Lazzaro's online book every chance I get to learn more
