Oh yes, it certainly will ! I for one am impatient to give it a try.
When a future version of SFront will spit out realtime win32 C code (vst2
hopefully, John Wawrzynek can contact me for info/assistance regarding this),
it will be very interesting to compare the compiled code's performances with
all those other realtime modular soft synths (Generator/Reaktor, Vaz,
DirectCsound...) flourishing on PC. Once SFront will be really fine-tuned, I
would expect better performance because of the "hard-wired" nature of the C
code, or is there something inherently slow in SAOL ? (I must say I haven't
been impressed by the speed of saolc ;-)
