Probably I've been a little bit too rude...

To be correct, SFront is not an implementation of "compression" but of
"decompression".
Compression is process of building the bitstream, or coding; the other
one, which we are discussing about, is decoding. You cannot say that
MP3 is lossless because the same player always extract the same sound
from the same mp3 file. Anyway I agree that is possible to discuss about
these issues. Is it possible to extract from a recording or live performance
an instrument description and score such that I will not loose any information
when I code in SA ? Or I don't see things correctly ? Ok, SA is about
synthesis and processing...

In fact it is not wise.

Not at all. But I guess it depends a lot on the application. I imagine that a
deterministic video-game has a very poor quality indeed. Not interesting.
What about music ? I don't know, even if I am a (low quality) musician.
But in my list I didn't talk only about determinism (that affect only random
generators). If I remeber well you also mentioned spatialize, filters, etc.
There,
I wouldn't talk of determinism or not, I would talk of quality or not. The same
for interpolation, or effects. Please re-read my answer in this shape and
probably you will get it better.

Best regards (and peace, of course :-))
