Hi all,

My name is Cor Jansen, and I'm new to the list.
I'm working at DAP-design. A company that specializes in digital audio.
Currently we develop firewire related products.
At this moment I'm investigating the development of a mpeg4-sa player for
the Macintosh or an external player connected to the firewire port.

Does anyone know if there is any work going on in the development of a mpeg4-sa
player for the Macintosh?
Do you people think an external mpeg4-sa player (with high quality audio outputs)
make any sense? Or will this be of little use, because the computers are fast enough
for software only players?

Does anyone has an idea how many CPU power is needed for a reasonable and for
a very good mpeg4-sa player?

What kind of developments are you people working on? I'm very curious!

Thanks, Cor Jansen
