Hi Mark,

My understanding is that sfront only produces the bitstream header
part of the MP4 format. When an MP4 is streamed, the bitstream
header (strictly, the "StructuredAudioSpecificConfig" element)
conceptually arrives all at the same time at the start of session.
So it doesn't matter what order SASL, SAOL, and samples come
in this block, since everything is arrived before the orchestra
startup begins (see Subclause 5.7.2).

saenc (the encoder bundled with saolc) currently, and I'm sure
sfront in the future, produces a full bitstream. In this case,
after the header is received, score events and MIDI events may
be encoded as streaming data. The score chunk encoded in the
bitstream header is *not* streaming score data, it is
preprocessed score data.

Is this distinction clear?
