Hi John and others,
yes, in principle there should be no changes *at all* in SA
from v1 to v2. To my knowledge the only changes between the two
versions are about scalability of some natural audio coding tools
and low delay versions for some others.
Another part of the standard that will talk about SA and that is
nearly to become standard is the Conformance testing (ISO/IEC
14996-6); the final DIS (draft international standard) is due by
January 31. I'll ask if I can post somewhere at least the parts
regarding SA.
