I have been fiddling around with the SDIF file format recently, and in
the process revamped the sources of the sdif2mp4 program (reads sdif
1TRC "partial track" data into a saol orc for resynthesis) to use the
new version ("alpha 2", Oct 99) of the sdif function library from CNMAT,
which was much changed from the first version, not least because the
format of the SDIF files themselves had changed. Indeed, I have for
rapidity of development reimported and tweaked a couple of structures
and fucntions from the old version of the sdif library into the new
version, so that the sdif2mp4.cpp file didn't have to be completely
rewritten.
My questions are: has this already been done elsewhere (Eric?)? And, if
not, what should I do with my new version to make it available - provide
it via my desperately out of date web page, or send it to MIT and/or
CNMAT?
