Thanks for the pointers to the aiff code. I lifted what he had for his
simple aiff writer, and made the modifications for my needs. The file
that get written is read by other programs successfully, and the data
can be played. But, when I load it into a SAOL orchestra, compile it
with sfront, and run the resulting program, the program complains that
the input aiff (that I wrote) is corrupt. I tried other premade aiff
files and they work without recompiling the orchestra with sfront (as
long as they were named what the saol orchestra expects), so it is not
the sfront generated program.
Does sfront expect a more strict aiff format? Should I just send you
what I have so you can check it out?
