If you're thinking about runnnin Windows with some software like Logic
Audio Platinum, or use your PC as a sampler (using Gigasampler), you
should probably go for an Intel processor, because the software is
optimized for that processor (IMHO). Also, get a decent soundcard if
you're running that software (go to a pro-audio store for that, you won't
find it at your local computer dealer).
If you're just going to run the programs above, you can get away with a
cheap soundcard and it doesn't matter if you choose AMD then.
