Turns out to be a subtle sfront bug -- there's been a fair number of
small bugs like this reported, so I'll probably be doing a release
in a few days that fixes them, as well as putting the Win-gcc chapter
to rest. It was almost a month between sfront 0.55 and 0.56 -- and
10,000 lines of code changed in the interim -- not surprising some
issues are popping up ...
