I was planning to download the windows gcc anyway, as it happens (I have
the full Linux setup too, for cross-checking), so at some point I might
try investigating this. One point about the Windows build is that I
don't run Bison (though I have some elderly verison on my Windows
machine), I just build the parser.tab.c as supplied.

Funnily enough, I thought last light I might as well remove my old
Windows build of sfront from my website as it is very out of date, and I
am no longer adding anything to the canonical one. It is probable that
through John Fitch I can get space on the Bath university 'dream' server
to host a full Windows distribution with examples (not enough space on
my personal system), if that is useful. We are generally expanding
'dream' to host more programs, not just Csound.
