        Thanks for that. That's exactly what I needed to know. I would feel
remiss if I didn't point out that my intention was not so much to use it
real time in any extended practical sense. Though I would use it live if
that option was available to me. But rather that I wished to align my
resources along MPEG-4's development path and the way I see it is that to be
viable, this is where MP4s will be heading. Having worked on such a box for
a short time I figure that sooner or later there will be an explosion of mp4
rendering chip-sets which will probably first appear on computer sound
cards. Since this may well be the kind of revolution in musical technology
I've been waiting for, I'd like to be in a position now to follow through
with that.

Anyway thanks again for that. Hopefully within a couple of weeks these boxes
will all be talking to each other and I'll be able to start the learning
curve in ernest.
