Hi! Im Lars Pellarin (aka Sir. Cuit).
Im a Buzz (modular virtual studio system) user, and now a SAOL user.
Im a musicprogrammer - not a musician! I want to show others the sounds i
imagine - and the atmosphere they can lead to.
To do this i need new kinds of synths - not vintage ones - i hate those, so
i was hoping SAOL will let me do that some day.

Now my first question: Can you make function calls with SAOL that you cant
make with C++ f.ex.?
Like, can you make synths that wouldnt be able to be programmed in C++? No?
didnt think so. With the types of synthesis mentioned in the documention for
SAOL its fully capable to do what others can, but i was thinking that
stripping it down to basic commands, you can step out of ordinary synths
parameters and their restriction to your emagination.
Whats your expiriences with that?

LArs
