They do need some work!;) But in my opinion good sound drivers should be
more integrated into the application. The notification of dsound isn't very
accurate either, so the only option is to check the playposition yourself.
But this has to be done in the 'audio-calculation'- loop and not in a
function that is called once the audio has been calculated.
